You heard it - Maybank2u.com, Amway2u.com... the newest to join in the crowd - hlk2u.com. Owned by HLK (Chain-Store) Electrical Appliances Sdn Bhd, they claimed to be the first electrical chain stores in Malaysia to have e-commerce.
Browsing around, you would probably find out (soon enough) that the site is built from a plug-n-play e-commerce solution for anyone to get a quick start on e-commerce. There is nothing wrong with standard box solution - web hosting, catalogue, (more than enough) online payment options - the more likely question is: What's in there for consumers?
Benefits to shop online? Special online price? Even the T&C is oddly formatted with various font types and sizes. (Would they allow oddly formatted posters or buntings to be placed in their physical stores?)
Before getting into e-commerce, let's get the fundamentals in-placed, shall we?
